6 Places to Install an Extra Security Siren

Home gym: If you have a home gym, you probably aren’t in it all day. Installing a secondary siren in your home gym can deter intruders from stealing your workout equipment. Since weights cost about a dollar a pound, they’re pretty valuable.

Basement: If you have a basement, installing a security siren can be a great way to increase the security of your home. In many homes, sound doesn’t carry as well into the basement. Whether you have a workout room, a workshop, or a laundry room in your basement, an extra security siren can alert you if an intruder is in your home. Introducing Cove’s Secondary Siren

With the launch of our new equipment line, we are introducing a new secondary siren. This siren is incredibly easy to use, very loud, and it can be placed anywhere in your home. The siren must be plugged into an outlet, but it does include a backup battery.

The siren communicates with Cove’s main hub via a wireless connection, so as long as it’s placed within range of the hub, it will go off when any of your sensors are triggered (while the system is armed). This siren will sound in addition to the sirens on your hub and your alarm panel (both the hub and the alarm panel include their own sirens as well).
